Elsa Gillham, District Governor 5280 visits our Club this Monday!!

Inspired by the teachings of Chinese philosopher Confucius, who said “It is better to light a candle than to sit and curse the darkness”, President Gary CK Huang directs each of us to “Light Up Rotary” in 2014-15. What better way to do so than for “Each Club to be a VIBRANT Club” which is my one District Goal for this year. Imagine how our District with 62 VIBRANT Clubs and over 2400 members will "Light Up Rotary" by doing good, having fun and sharing Rotary. I am excited and honored to be your District Governor this coming year and along with my extraordinary team of experienced and dedicated district leaders, we are here to help you make your club a VIBRANT club. Together District 5280 clubs will “Light Up Rotary”!  www.rotary5280.org

One Book, One City    C:\Users\se07913.UBSPROD\Desktop\51aLErKZpjL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_[1].jpg

A reading experience to bring the Beverly Hills Community together like never before.

“The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown celebrates the 1936 U.S. men’s Olympic eight-oar rowing team—nine working class boys who stormed the rowing world, transformed the sport, and galvanized the attention of millions of Americans. The book’s message is that a small, diverse group of people, exceeding the strength of any single one of its members, can, by working together towards a common goal, accomplish great things.  Click here for more information.
